This is the e-ink ereader you are looking for. I have had several Kindles and Nooks and also a Boox I86, this is the best of the lot. So far (after only a few days) it is great. The responsiveness is light years ahead of past generation e-ink readers. I will update the review in a few months if necessary.Pros: Good size, Responsive, Android 6.0, Google play support out of the box, Good gray scale, Wifi and Bluetooth etc., SD card slot (but lots of memory already), headphone jack, good battery life.Cons: None so far that aren't already associated with e-ink,

After installing the App Greenify, the battery life is great. I am running the Google setup on this. Can't get the Google Calendar to work, but all else does. Using Kobo, Libby, Kindle, Pocket, Workflowy, IHeartRadio, Keep, Bring, Audible. I can play Audible books and more through the Bluetooth on my car radio. Works with Bluetooth keyboard. For me, it is mostly an e-reader, but the other options are rather handy, especially the car audio options. Today I listened to several stories on Pocket using the text to speech feature on Pocket.

The screen is beautiful and easy to read. I find the e-ink screen far easier on my eyes than reading on a computer or phone. It's super quick and responsive. The LED lighting is evenly distributed across the screen and can be adjusted to remove blue color for reading prior to bed. Lots of storage and an expansion card slot means I'll always have plenty to read. I was able to activate the Google Play store, so I'm able to install Android Apps, which expands the utility of this device and allows access to a variety of book sources (e.g., Kindle Store, Google, your local library, downloaded books, etc.). The Likebook Mars also handles PDF files quite nicely! I've installed the KOReader and the Libby app so I can easily borrow books from my local library over WiFi. I've been able to install additional Truetype fonts, which is great. Adjusting reading preferences is easy. You can even adjust the contrast for words and pictures separately, which comes in handy at times. Another big plus for me is that I'm not subjected to advertisements when I use this device.

This is probably the best e-reader given the price because you can do much more with this than other e-readers like Kindles or Kobos. After installing the Google Play Store, you can install a bunch of Android apps and use it as a tablet for basic things like checking email, studying flashcards (Quizlet), reading ebooks (of course), browsing the web, listening to music and audio (with Bluetooth headphones) and so on. However, don't forget that it's supposed to be an E-READER NOT A TABLET! Look at the name! It's an LIKEBOOK NOT A LIKETABLET! A bunch of people in this comment section just forgot that fact and wrote negative reviews based on their expectations for a tablet.
